Product development

From drawing to extrusion: the profile only your product has

When your product's component doesn't exist in any catalog, Perfiltec develops it: you bring the drawing or a sample, our engineering defines material and process, you approve the physical sample and serial production begins. In-house extrusion and injection, in PVC, PE, PP, ABS and other polymers.

The path, in four steps

Briefing

Technical drawing or sample + application, volumes and requirements. It's the form below.

Profile engineering

Material definition (PVC, PE, PP, ABS or another polymer), final geometry and development of the die dedicated to your profile.

Approved sample

You receive and validate the physical part in your product before any scale-up.

Serial production

Continuous supply with the same raw material and the same standard as the sample.

Developments in serial production · ERP 12 meses

Profiles born from an industrial client's briefing that are now among the plant's highest-volume items — client names stay confidential, results don't.

Questions from developers

What do I need to start?

A technical drawing (DWG, PDF or even a dimensioned sketch) or a physical sample of the profile. That's enough to start.

Which materials do you extrude?

PVC, PE, PP, ABS and other polymers — the material is defined with engineering based on flexibility, friction, exposure and cost. If your product needs a specific compound, we assess it in the briefing.

Do you offer co-extrusion?

Yes. We extrude co-extruded profiles — two materials in a single part, such as a rigid body with a flexible sealing lip, as the application requires.

How does die development work?

Each profile requires a dedicated extrusion die. We handle its development within the project and validate with a sample before any serial production.

What's the minimum order and lead time?

They vary with profile complexity and material. Both come defined in the proposal, after the briefing.

Do you serve my sector?

HVAC, refrigeration, automotive, furniture, supermarket, construction and other industries — if the component is a plastic profile, it's our job.
